The Wi-Fi Alliance has a timetable for eliminating outdated WEP and TKIP security from certified Wi-Fi devices.

eduroam has always encouraged the use of WPA and strongly suggests the use of WPA2 for securing the connection from your laptop, phone, pda or other wireless device.

This roadmap will add further support to the use of WPA2 in education, commercial and home use.

The eduroam logo was approved during the TERENA Task Force on Mobility meeting that took place in February 2006. You can download the eduroam logo and use it according to the usage guidelines document, and trademark information.
