Running your own eduroam course

If you have already attended an eduroam train-the-trainer course, the idea is that you deliver eduroam training to as many institutions as possible in your own country. Here is a brief list of steps you should follow when delivering eduroam training yourself:

  • Organise your course. See the online presentation for information about how you should approach course organisation.
  • Download the latest materials, i.e. the eduroam course slides. You might also consider consulting the eduroam cookbook for further technical information.
  • Adapt the course slides if necessary, changing them to reflect the technologies at use in your local institutions. You may also consider translating the slides into your local language if you feel this would be beneficial. See the online training module about slide development for guidance about how to create effective slides.
  • Set up your training environment.
  • Download additional materials: the eduroam Training Evaluation Form and the eduroam Feedback Form. Print out a copy for each delegate.
  • Run your course, using the form to collect feedback from the participants about the training, and the form to collect feedback about eduroam itself.
  • Inform us about who attended your course, when it was run and how it went, by emailing gn2-training-feedback@dante.org.uk.

We would also be very grateful if you could send us photocopies of the course evaluation forms and the eduroam feedback forms. You can send these to:
